About me
Ron Johnson is the CEO and Founder of Tacilent, an award‑winning startup pioneering predictive AI and cognitive intelligence solutions that help executive teams and boards prevent over $600 million in losses and protect profitability through enterprise risk, resilience, and decisioning platforms. With more than 20 years of experience across risk, intelligence, and data analysis in the public and private sectors, he has led transformative teams at Ernst & Young, the FBI, and U.S. Army Special Operations. At Ernst & Young, he built a nine‑figure technology and cyber profit and loss (P&L) and created the firm’s intelligence and data analytics team, delivering clearer risk decisions for global enterprises.
He holds a master’s in Cyber Threat Intelligence, is a Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School, and teaches Responsible AI, leadership, and cybersecurity at Tennessee Technological University. He is the co‑author of The Power of Data Conversations and a recipient of the FBI Medal of Excellence.
A former Senior Special Operations Intelligence Officer with multiple combat deployments, Ron built covert intelligence and risk tools for high‑stakes missions supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the President of the United States, experience now underpinning Tacilent’s recognition as one of Georgia’s Top 40 Most Innovative Companies, Emerging Reg Tech Company, and a national Stellar AI Startup. Ron enjoys family and moving dirt on his tractor.
